The Georgian National Museum unites the country’s most significant museums into a single network and carries out scientific-research, conservation-restoration, exhibition, and educational activities. Its interdisciplinary approach allows the museum to maintain unified standards in research, artifact preservation, education, and the protection of cultural heritage.

 

The National Museum actively collaborates with public and private institutions, as well as local and international educational and cultural organizations. This cooperation ensures the high quality and effectiveness of its operations.

 

The museum’s mission includes studying the past and present of Georgians and the diverse ethnic groups of Georgia, protecting and researching natural and cultural monuments, promoting them, and ensuring public access to this heritage.
