What is the European Youth Card?

The European Youth Card is an opportunity card created for young people, bringing together more than 25,000 discounts across 40 European countries.
Today, over 9.3 million young people are part of the EYCA network, using the card to access thousands of discounts across the continent in tourism, education, entertainment, transport, food, and recreation.

 

The programme has been operating in various European countries for around 45 years and is managed by the pan-European organisation — the European Youth Card Association (EYCA). Its activities are supported by the Council of Europe and fully aligned with the principles of EU youth policy.

 

The European Youth Card Georgia (EYCG) is the local representative of the programme and operates within the structure of Tbilisi City Hall.

In December 2025, through the collaboration of Tbilisi City Hall and the Bank of Georgia, the issuance of European Youth Cards will officially begin in Georgia.

 

To join the programme, it is enough to be a young person aged 18 to 30 and to hold any Bank of Georgia card. You will be able to activate the benefits of the European Youth Card directly in the Bank of Georgia mobile banking app. With the card, young people in Georgia will enjoy thousands of discounts in various European countries, including France, Germany, Montenegro, Belgium, and many others.

 

In addition to local and international discounts, European Youth Card Georgia will also offer cardholders a variety of exciting events.
